Using Primescan digital scanning and Primemill chairside milling technology, we design, create, and place your permanent crown in a single appointment.

How Same-Day Crowns Work

The process begins with a digital scan of your tooth using our Primescan system. No messy impressions. No discomfort. The scan creates a precise 3D model that Dr. Ritchey uses to design your crown digitally, adjusting the shape, size, and bite in real time.

Once the design is finalized, the Primemill mills your crown from a single block of high-quality dental ceramic. After a final fit and polish, it's bonded permanently to your tooth. From scan to placement, the entire process happens in our office, in one visit. For patients who also need broader restorative work, same-day crowns are often one component of a larger treatment plan.
